If you intend to participate in the wananga, please RSVP and register your names as quickly as possible by completing this survey:
This survey will also help us to plan & organise transport for those that need it to get up to Te Haroto. So please complete it! We will pick you up at the Tamatea Pak n Save and drop you back off there. The vans will be leaving the Tamatea Pak n Save at 8.30am and returning there after the hakari.
Following our guiding principles and values of whanaungatanga and manaakitanga, please bring a kai (a plate of kai) to share at the wananga. Kai will be provided at the wananga but we want to encourage:
Ma tou rourou
Ma toku rourou
Ka ora te Iwi
If you have photos and whakapapa that you want to share at our wananga, mauria mai – feel free to bring these. We are looking forward to seeing you all there.
Please also take some time to review the Hineuru Reo & Tikanga strategy which we will be discussing, prior to the wananga. You can download a copy below.
We also distributed a survey for whanau to give feedback on our Annual General Meeting of Hineuru Iwi Trust that was held on Saturday 21 November 2020 at the Napier Memorial Conference Centre. To date thirteen people have completed the survey and this will be closed on 7 December 2020 – if you have not already done so please follow the link below and provide your feedback.
