Are you rangatahi Māori aged 18-25yrs and have the potential to be a great leader?
The Tuia programme is an intergenerational approach to developing and enhancing how our young Māori contribute to communities throughout Aotearoa New Zealand. Hastings District Council have been proud supporters of this programme and wish to continue the mahi helping our rangatahi weave strong connectivity with the past, present and future; to self; and to people, place and environment.

Who can participate in the programme?
Rangatahi Māori (18-25 yrs) from the Heretaunga region who are actively contributing to the wellbeing of their community at some level, and have the potential to be a leader in their community. To be considered for this mentorship rangatahi must be supported by their community (whether it is iwi/hapū/marae/whānau or Māori community based organisations).

· Dropping your USB stick into our Customer Services Centre at 207 Lyndon Street Hastings (please ensure this is enclosed in an envelope addressed to HR), OR
· If you have Dropbox please send the link to your video to recruit@hdc.govt.nz
· Be sure to include your completed Tuia Programme Application form.
